SharePoint 2010 TechTalks

Dear College of Education SharePoint Users,

In preparation for the SharePoint 2010 migration that will be taking place at the end of this month, the Education IT team is providing several training opportunities to our SharePoint users.  This email describes four TechTalks that we will be offering over the next two weeks.  Here is the schedule for the SharePoint 2010 TechTalks:

  • Monday May 16 from 10:00am to 11:00am in BRNG 3295
  • Wednesday May 18 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in BRNG 3295
  • Tuesday May 24 from 10:00am to 11:00am in BRNG 3295
  • Friday May 27 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in BRNG 3295

The TechTalks will follow this basic outline:

  2. How To Create A Folder
  3. How To Upload A File
  4. How To Add/Remove Users To/From A Site
  5. How To Connect To A Document List With Windows Explorer
  6. How To Add A Persistent Network Location
  7. How To Import Folders Into A Document List
  8. How To Delete A File or Folder
  9. Data Handling Certification

There will be plenty of time for Q & A during each presentation.  Anyone associated with the College of Education or the Purdue Teacher Education Program is welcome to attend.
